I have already received and consumed my first box of mooncakes, courtesy of a kind colleague who knows that I like the fancy snowskin ones.
I have been keeping up with the annual tradition of buying and delivering mooncakes to the elders in my family, and I’m now on the lookout for a set that both the kids and the elders will love. I’m likely to settle on the frozen durian ones as these have proven to be hot favourite in previous years.
Pandarita is now a lot more verbal than she was this time last year, so I think it is time to pull out relevant picture books from my cluttered bookshelf and get her acquainted with what this festival is all about.
Here’s a simple information and colouring sheet – both were designed with little Pandarita in mind, with simple words for toddlers just beginning to learn to read.
